The park is situated on approximately 1000 acres (420 ha) of land and includes Atsion Lake. Atsion Lake is a manufactured lake that was created in the early 1800s by damming Atsion Creek. The lake covers an area of approximately 200 acres (81 ha) and has a maximum depth of 30 feet (nine meters).
